It's times like these I wish I could enter my own competitions!  To quote from their website ' Áine Hand Made Chocolate - the luxurious taste of heavenly hand made Irish chocolate from award-winning Master Chocolatier, Ann Rudden. This truly is chocolate as it should be - mouth watering, melt-in-the-mouth magic... Our chocolate is made using fresh Irish butter and cream and a couverture blend with a high content of cocoa solids. And because we believe that everybody should share in the tempting taste of our hand made chocolate, it is all gluten-free and there are sugar-free varieties too...' YUMMY!

You can buy their amazing chocolate in Avoca stores, Fallon & Byrne and many other gourmet food halls and cafés around the country. Just amazing quality. Go ahead and spoil yourself!

The Barry's Tea Time-Out Hamper - what more do you need?

So how do you go about entering this giveaway? Here's what to do...

The aim of the game is to promote Irish business and gluten free brands that are available in Ireland - these brands don't necessarily have to be Irish.

Step 1

First, you have to 'like' my facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/TheGlutenFreePhotographer and/or 'follow' my blog - points at right hand side of this page at the 'Followers' section.

Step 2

Then either e-mail me at glutenfreephotos@gmail.com, post a comment on my facebook page or comment on this blog post with a suggestion of either a gluten free/coeliac friendly brand that has not already been featured in my 'Off The Shelf' page AND/OR name a restaurant/café/hotel/B&B/bakery/catering service anywhere in the 32 counties of Ireland, that is great for coeliacs and is not already featured on my 'Eat Out' page. I'm not talking about somewhere that only has a salad or omelette on the menu that is listed as a dish that is coeliac friendly, or a café that may have a piece of brownie or one piece of cake that is suitable for coeliacs - what you recommend has to be genuinely coeliac superb. A place or service that really is fantastic for the gluten free foodie, with a wide range of menu options or services for the coeliac or gluten intolerant.

If you are already following my blog or you are on my facebook page, you can enter by just submitting your suggestion to me, as above.

I'm going to run this competition for 2 weeks and everyone who enters will be automatically put into a draw and the winners of the hampers will be decided from that.

So get your thinking caps on!

Closing date will be Friday 20th May 2011. The four lucky winners will be announced on Saturday 21st May 2011. Only one entry per person.

Updates & Exciting News

So I haven't been the most diligent of bloggers as of late! I have been busy though...

Okay first things first, welcome to all my new readers and followers! I'm flattered that anyone would find my blog worth reading, so thank you for your virtual company :)

I have updated my pages - woo! If you haven't noticed, the 'Eat Out' page is now in alphabetical order by county. Hopefully making it a little easier to navigate. A few more eateries have been added too, so slowly but surely coming along.

The 'Clue Me In!' page has had a new link added - GlutenZone.ie is a newly launched website that I think will soon develop into a one-stop shop, so to speak, for gluten free living in Ireland.

'Off The Shelf' has had a few more tasty gluten free foods added to the page. I'm aware that Eco Direct (also featured on this page), have recently begun a new e-newsletter. If you have already had dealings with Eco Direct you probably have already received their first instalment. It's a great source of information and it seems they are featuring deals for coeliac friendly restaurants and new products that are being introduced to their shop. If you haven't received it and are interested, I suggest you contact them either through this link HERE or give them a call at (01) 620 5053.

I have published a new page called 'Cups For Cooking'. I've put this up to make converting my recipes that I publish a little easier. There's also a convenient link on this page that will lead you to a site that converts everything you can possibly cook with, into weights.

Now for the exciting news - I have an amazing giveaway that I'm in the middle of organising. I have arranged to have some superb 'prizes' and am really looking forward to getting it going. Once I have the logistics finalised, hopefully sometime this week, I shall run the giveaway through my blog and facebook page. I'm genuinely delighted with the generosity of the businesses that have donated to this. All details to be revealed (very) soon...!
